Let me tell you that those aren't all infants and elderly. It is rare for an infant to acquire pneumonia actually. I am an otherwise healthy 41 yr. old male who got pneumonia last year and was laid up for nearly 3 weeks, it was awful. Drug use is a common means to getting it as your respiratory system is suppressed. Poor oral hygiene is also common

First off, do you have any idea how many people just in the U.S. get pneumonia every year? About half a million with about a 10% mortality rate. Let me tell you that those aren't all infants and elderly. It is rare for an infant to acquire pneumonia actually. I am an otherwise healthy 41 yr. old male who got pneumonia last year and was laid up for nearly 3 weeks, it was awful. Drug use is a common means to getting it as your respiratory system is suppressed. Poor oral hygiene is also common
