As a guild we funded relics, so yeah, 2x Dynamis per week plus currency we could buy by selling HNM items funded our relics. The guild broke and some of us created a Merc LS and through that we've gotten a lot of relics now. I'd suggest getting into a good Dynamis/HNM/Merc shell and making friends. This stage of the game is pretty hard to get the gil necessary to get a relic outside buying it from gilsellers.

The only possible way to obtain these weapons is to spned thousands of dollars buying GIL or virtual currency.

There's people that get these weapons by legit means but it takes them years to complete and this includes them hosting Dynamis two times a week for that entire duration.

This weapon IS much better than the Hagun. Hagun gives a 100% TP bonus to the ws i.e., if it was 100%, it would be counted as a 200% WS. This is great for all the other WS to getter a higher percent damage multiplier, but it doesn't matter for Kaiten, it is x3.00 no matter what. STR modifier is a little lower on it than some of the later WS, but it still makes up for it. And the DoT on this weapon kicks ass too.

I seriously doupt that Hagun outparses Amanomurakumo. but I bet the gap is alot smaller than it should be.

Amano with Askar body > Hagun with Haub or even Haub +1. But Hagun with Askar body isnt as good as Haub, atleast that is what i heard. I think its because with Hagun you dont get that acc +20 like with Amano so Haub's acc is more beneficial.

I've heard that Hagun outparses Amano. Can that possibly be true? If so, I find that really stupid, but it would explain the sudden 'rocketing' of prices Hagun has undergone recently.

It's kind of like Spharai and Destroyers, Spharai isn't worth it, unless you like to push the limits and see what you can solo.

personally I blame the price jump on hagun on greedy people wanting to squeeze more money out of people and the relics are better, they are just not that much better than the easier to get alternatives and dont really compensate for their high price value.
