  • Just great, like guywolff said, the fire is great too, sets it perfectly. I like your touch on the keys, the bass sings but the upper keys seem to skip like a dancer. Beautiful combination; great job.

  • Great music and a wonderful fire .. warmed up my whole day , Thanks .. Guy

  • Thanks Guy, glad you enjoyed the tunes ... & the fire.

  • munster gallop? dont you mean winster gallop?

    great playing btw.

  • Brilliant.

    Thanks for the name check.

I learned this set from a Northumbrian Piper & just never thought to check on the names. I could never understand the Munster connection, but then as the first tune is played as a four part Polka in Ireland, I didn't worry about it too much.

    Cheers

    Dick

  • no problem. you arent 'ptarmigan' from thesession. org by any chance?

  • Aye, ye olde Ptarmigan can be seen a variety of plumage &/or guises! ;-)

  • Your concertina looks like its on fire.....now thats hardcore extreme playing. :P

    Great tune. :)

  • Aye Lady, but then sure, sparks always fly when I play my Concertina! :-)

    Cheers,

    Dick
