Tagalog has some Spanish words or some related to Spanish words like the slang for butterfly in Tagalog is mariposa but there is an actual word for it
@Farfeb There is around 5000 borrowed spanish words, in this video you dont see any i believe. Its an interesting language, and it shows how connected this world is.
@Farfeb I agree. Tagalog is Austronesian and is closely related to Bahasa Indonesia. It is not a Spanish creole language like Chavacano (a Filipino language in the south). It has several spanish-derived words in it but it is definitely not similar. Your second point however, speaks of your minute knowledge of Fiipinos and our culture. Read up.
@Farfeb Tagalog is nothing like spanish. It has borrowed words from spanish that is all. English has borrowed words from arabic and it is nothing like the arabic language.
it would be an advantage for a non tagalog speaker if he/she knows how to speak Spanish because most of our words were derived from Spanish. A simply kamusta ka in tagalog means ¿como estas en español.
ito ay payo lang naman mga kaibigan.
good sa pag-aaral ng aming wikang tagalog. sana'y maibigan ni'yo hindi lamang ang aming wika o lengguhe(Spanish) kundi pati na rin ang Pilipinas.
wow. ang lalaim ng tagalog ko. it's very unsual for me to speak in fluent tagalog.

First off, Tagalog doesn't sound similar to Spanish to me. Second of all, how can it be similar to Spanish if that language is spoken in Asia?

You should learn the difference between a phrase and a word and title your videos accordingly.

Nice, but sorry a little correction. Maganda is feminine so it should be belle and not beau!
Interesting...

thank u for the correction..:)
i really appreciate that..

@rlf4403tube Maganda is gender neutral so belle or beau are both correct. Thanks!
