  • This video went viral on Lome

  • So Fringe-like

  • I'd like to have my name written over New York's buildings

  • This movie is the BEST EVER ! ! ! ! ! ! !

Should of been nom for best movie at the oscers that year, 20021

  • Does anybody notice the lens flare when the credits of the Director of Photography are shown, obviously a Photography mistake !

  • PANIC ROOM is the best :D

  • do you know any movie which opening is like that ? like Moon, centurion, or the glass house ?

  • Did You know it took 1 year just to create these credits, David Fincher likes everything pefect! Proberbly the reason why every movie he directs is pure gold "Fight Club, Se7en, Zodiac, Panic Room, The Game, Benjamin Button" FUCK How has he not won an oscar?

  • @3runner4lfe ah the film '' The Game'' was weird but was great film

  • @3runner4lfe didn't benjamin button or the social network get an oscar?

  • @edjones1011 I think so but Fincher himself has only been nominated twice, he really does deserve to win one

  • @3runner4lfe yeah that's true, especially for se7en and fight club

  • @3runner4lfe yeah that's true, especially for se7en and fight club

  • @3runner4lfe thats true, especially for fight club and se7en, those are definitely his best films

  • @3runner4lfe yeah especially for fight club and se7en, they were his best

  • anybody know the name of the song that starts at :55?

  • I haven't seen Panic Room yet but this title sequence is intriguing. Very Hitchcockian North by Northwest. I like it : D

  • DEVIL (2010) got its inspiration

  • This opening is 10x better than Vacancy, come on...

  • The credits could have read:

    Opening sequence: Saul Bass

    Music Composed by: Bernard Herrmann

    Directed by: Alfred Hitchcock

  • Actually it is a great movie, thank you. Thank you for uploading this as I have looked forever for this music and sequence. :)

  • David Fincher is awesome.

  • wonderful movie, one of my favorites

  • Fincher has made some of the best opening credit sequences for his films. Genious!

  • They used this is OpTic predators montage...

  • @rockypog get over it. it isnt that much of a big deal. he still put alot of effort in his video

  • Fincher's movies pretty much invariably have great opening sequences

  • Everyone says this movie was a step backwards for FINCHER.. I really like this movie.. could be because I have a weird love of Jodie Foster...?

  • the universe in a miniature

  • david Fincher = SE7EN ..his best work

  • het was echt super mooi gefilmt, door het plavond heen enzo, het was echt heel mooi gemaakt. En speel Kristen Steward nou een jongen ?

  • Piss poor, tacky & lame.....its eyecandy for the easily impressed. You should see more than 10 movies before making a top 10 list

  • God I forgot Kristen Shewart was in this.

  • @hotboy90210 have you seen the opening for Lord Of War? It's amazing

  • Picture Mill!

  • Have you ever seen Fringe opening sequence, this has nothing to do with it. It´s totally different.

  • @mrsimpson46 NOT!!!

  • At the very least its something new isnt it? Fincher does that with every movie. Something new. Weather its the credits or something else.

  • Kanye & Common Tried to Do This Same Concept for the Video "The Corner"

  • kriistn stwart ta podre faia d+++ nesse filme

  • Since Whitaker didn't play a bad black guy, they got a white dude, in dark lighting to wear CORNROWS. HE plays the bad black guy. Yeah I said it.

  • @mumbleora The guy with cornrows wasn't that bad either. The real bad guy was the white guy being played by someone best known as a country singer. So your racism argument fails.

  • i love the music is there a way of getting it ?

  • They use this a lot in Fringe.

  • I actually just thought the same!

  • Howard Shore did the score . The beginning title is a direct homage to three legends 1. Alfred Hitchcock 2. Bernard Herrmann and 3. Saul Bass.

  • whos that little girl in the movie?

  • its the same actress from that new "Twillight" movie

  • fuck twilight! you lil girl

  • twilight is for people with absolutely no life

  • Kirsten Stewart

  • Kristen Stewart, she was in Catch That Kid, awsome film man, it for little kids (12 year olds) but it's so awsome

  • Haha yeah I loved that movie too!

  • kristen stewart from twilight

  • i love fringe and panic room :)

  • yeah it's just like Fringe.

  • Well, this was released YEARS before Fringe. :)

  • Gold!

It appears that you are the one who should listen 'my friend'. John Williams saturates every score with brass. He is far too heavy handed with his leitmotifs, and manipulates the audience so obviously. Star Wars etc - great songs, but they're all adventure-type themes/films. That's why they're good, coz he does over the top well and it suits those kinds of exaggerated films.

Bitch and moan if you want, but I know what i'm talking about, and your sycophantic shite aint constructive.

  • Learn to spell too.

    It's s-C-h-i-n-d-l-e-r.

    Anyway...have a nice life.

  • Constructive? You think what your posting matters to anyone? You think John Williams is going to take tips of you? You think someone who has created a multi-millionaire dollar fortune is going to care about your pretentious crap? You think anyone cares about how cultured you are? You think your going to come down from your pedestal?

  • Ennio Morricone is better than John Williams.

  • Does anyone knows the title of the opening song???

    Please tell me! =)

  • Its simply called "Main Titles"

The film's score was released on Varese Sarabande records. The album contains nine cues, running 30:09.

  • does anyone know where i can download the music from the trailer???

  • I love the use of effects.

  • yeah, 7 years later the 'new and brilliant' tv show Fringe decides to use this idea... well done JJ abrahams.

  • The only difference is that the font Fringe uses is awesome.

  • Saul Bass made the titles for Hitchcock.

And the Panic Room titles are very similar, just an updated version of the titles to North by North West. Check it out.
