This song was not on the US release because the lyric "Shit falls like rain on a world that is brown" was considered too heavy.

Not a fan of this video here, but I love the song. Underused by the Oils. It was on a copied audiocassette I had back in the 80s, along with a strange version of The Dead Heart that had all this whooping on it. I never heard either track until I just found Gun Barrel Highway here.

Cool, except for all the roadkill shots and the creepy bloody shot of the car's bumper. It kinda weirded me out.

Some of the shots look like locations for the "Mad Max" movie. Was it filmed on this highway?

most of the pix were shot on the stuart highway, straight on our way through the red center of australia`s outback. the landscape called the breakaways, the location for mad max 3. it`s near coober pedy, the Opal Capital of the World.
