I love how this video teaches you how to make a textbook authentic Lobster Bisque and at the same time teaches you the most efficient way to carve a lobster at the same time. It's like a bonus lesson.
Made this last night for my Valentine of the last 26 years and we all loved it. It was simplistic and awesome. Thanks for posting this. We all loved it.
EXCELLENT !! I just LOVE your video my friend.. I love watching you cook, your GREAT, you should have your own TV show on the Food network.. Great Job !!
@amyhuavan poor lobster? I assume that you would rip a carrot out its warm hole. or strip a broccoli head from its cozy growing place. the carrot, broccoli, onions, and other nice vegetables are also growing and live entities,,,,,that have about the same brain capacity (i.e. none) that a lobster has. you lack education. your comment shows this.
its actually wayyyy easier if its done with frozen lobster meat of course its not gonna taste the same but it has a nice touch to it

My sister was raving about my cream of broccoli soup and insisted I make the Lobster Bisque.
Your presentation was so simple, professional, informative and above all, doable by us novices.
I am definitely making this recipe. Thank you for posting this.

This seems very simple. More simple than other bisques recipes I have researched. I will certainly give this a try very soon. Thanks! :-)

Do you have a video on how to make maine lobster stew ? - thanks
lakeview255 1 year ago
Just made this tonight! It was very tasty, and actually quite rich - you wouldn't want too much, so it'll serve maybe 3-4 people.
Delicious with a warm crusty roll.
Thank you for the recipe.

Couls chicken broth work with this recipe?
Nationalist65 2 years ago
Yes, chicken broth would work However, we wouldn't call it Lobster Bisque as that is not technically correct. We'd call it Creamy Lobster Soup.

I made this last night. It was a little bland but was improved by adding some salt. Overall it was pretty good.

No. However, it does have a lot of cholesterol.
