@RebbelReb im not sure but, i can tell you this:- if you drop the tower early although you get 750 global gold (150 per team member) your lane has essentially broken a wall that creeps wouldn't have passed before. what this means is that your creeps push into your opponents side of the map making farming on that lane much more vulnerable to ganks. it also makes ganking that lane much harder to.
