ties that tropa de elite has to this doc. Basically i find them strikingly similiar and i think tropa de elite is based off of this cop's experiences.

At the beginning of Tropa de Elite it says that the movie was based off of a real policeman that was interviewed by some journalist and that the film had been destroyed and the officers identity hidden. But the first time i saw the movie i automatically thought of this doc and the policeman that they keep interviewing. I find it funny that the main cop in the movie looks exactly like this guy and i could see the makers of the film lying about the interview being destroyed to disconnect any
