My experience is - NEW 1600ma battery @ $12 (including tool set) and 30 minutes renews your iPhone to original or better battery life. Be sure to purchase the 7 or 8 piece tool set separately or with the battery. This comes with the suction cup and the battery I purchased came with the connector already attached so NO SOLDERING :-)

i pulled the glass off of the actual screen when i used the suction cup and when i tried putting the glass piece back on i realized that the screws dont fasten it down, but they fasten the screen down and now the glass part wont go down all the way
Just open it carefully and take the hair out , it's supposed to be on your head not in your phone :D just joking . Had some dust between the lcd and the glass on my phone and took it out in just minutes . It's fun to work at your own phone and not throw out the window a few (or a lot ) $ at a phone repair service / shop .
i did that :) the rebel sim card stuck there with my simcard. I am from Cyprus and my quarantee was in US. Now somebody in Australia using my iphone as ipod touch and i own a new iphone 3g from Greece. Friendly advise: DONT DO THAT
wow! why didn't i think of that i had to replace a broken screen a while ago and scrached the chrome frame a bit! Thx 4 the tip i'll keep it in mind in case anything happens again.

Confirmed 100%, opens as easy as it looks with 0% damage.
I got thrown into a swimming pool with my iphone. Bought a new one and now I;m poking around inside my dead one.
I used a really basic suction pad that was used to hang my toothbrush on the bathroom miroor!
