  • I dont have the gift.

  • I actually believe happiness is our birthright. I have done a lot of study and personal energy and spiritual work to come to this conclusion, but I really believe that we are meant to come here and enjoy life and be happy overall. If you look at many primitive cultures they were generally happy people naturally. Anyway, this is my only personal belief and my beliefs are always evolving. ;-)

  • My boss criticised me, but maybe I deserved it, or maybe I should unionise and get my boss to shut the fuck up, jesus all this anti-depression stuff its all aimed at fucking wages slaves, can't any of you see that?

  • Fucking sums it up can't even get help for depression without some fucking advert trying to sell me something getting in the way, no wonder so many people want to top themselves, just make sure you take out a member of the capitalist class on your way won't you?

  • Come check out my blog on Wordpress. I am Elementalselfblog. I write specifically for those of us who have dealt with Depression. I post often and about many helpful topics.

  • @makedonija999 That DID help me feel better actually...

  • Being happy all comes down to one thing

Whether you had worthless parents or good parents

  • @ween121 blaming your parents for your problems is futile, although, there is some truth in it.

  • Thank you Doctor - good advice.

  • That is not training yourself to be happy when you enable a creep like a bad boss. Makes you an enabling victim. Get another job or report boss who is unjustly critical. People who inwardly take abuse too often are walking time bombs even if they can rationalize it. They will break down eventually.

  • You really can train yourself to be happy if it doesn't come naturally. If you want to - if you want to be depressed and unhappy, it is your choice.

  • I dont believe happiness to be a gift. Most happy people that I know are really hard workers and firtst and foremost they believe in them selves. Ive been a guy who's been depressed all my life. But the reason I was was because I gave up on myself and didnt care, but when I had enough, and started to actually believe in myself and didnt care what others thought that's when things started to change and I was becoming a different person and a lot more positive to be around.

  • I believe happiness to be a gift. You either have it or you don't. People who are by nature happy, are not likely to become miserable, just as people who are naturally of sour mood are not likely to learn to become happy.

We have a natural disposition which we won't be able to alter by much. We all have our glass filled to the same level. We see it as half empty or half full. That's the hand we were dealt. All we can do is play it.

  • I bet she's depressed. Happiness shouldn't be work.

The key to happiness is low expectations.

  • I break many peoples hearts and in return my heart is broken.negative.mabey i'm being loyal to the one I love, mabey, even the person I hurt will gain something along the way...mabey they'll get the picture.

  • Thanks was pretty good advice

  • wanna be happy? get out of nyc and move somewhere more affordable.

  • its really working///
