  • race testing..... thats cool didnt know that they did doughnuts for racing

    ?

  • is that a custom built cage?

  • redneck performance at its best

  • nice

  • havin fun yet? lol

  • were can i get one just like that one

  • Hmm one of these days its going to catch on something and then your gone. Wear the seat belt.

  • and a helmet? Easy for me to say... I ride MX bikes so I'm used to living in one anyway... besides its hard to flip a UTV that's +6 on each side. You're more likely to go over forwards or backwards then side to side. One of our guys flipped a Prowler XTZ making a simple left turn under power. Got chucked out the top! lol... He was okay just a lil road rash and some swore ribs.

  • @crustyforever yes and im pretty sure thats what SHOXGlitching was talking about he wouldnt have gone out of the roof with his seatbelt on and idc if you think it is difficult to flip it you just said he flipped it going aound a corner under power you are flooring it going in circles!

  • The Polaris XP is a pig compared to the Teryx.

  • polairs xp speacial edition is ten times better

  • By the way nice hair.

  • This is mint, if I need you to kick the shit out of anything I got i'll give you a call.

  • nice way to get rid of those stock tires and rims

  • This is cool and all but whats the point of the video

  • Just that. Its cool! It shows what a Teryx will do with just a few simple mods. Intake, Jet Kit, Ignition, Slip on Exhaust.

To get this kind of power from a Rhino you have to build the motor.

  • You guys at DFR should build my S for me as a demo... Why not worth a shot!

  • how long does one of your 750 upgraded engines last? Also do you ever sell any demo units?

  • 750 motor kits are bullet proof, how long it lasts depends on the user. We've only built a few 750 kits, most customers go 840. We've built several dozen 840s with zero issues.

That Kawi motor is very strong.

  • Hey crusty I take it that you are with Dragonfire. I think that I want a Teryx with one of your 800 race motors. Which would be better 08 with the carbs or the new 09 FI ?

  • If you're going to race, check your class rules for motor displacement. 840s are better play motors. The 800 race motor is not a good play motor. If you race it 5 times, blow it up once but podium the other 4 times you win the series. Personally I prefer a motor that lasts more then 1 dune season. ;oD

  • I would go with an 08' carb model. Jet kit for 9hp gain = $99. A multi map EFI controller for a Rhino is $355 and still doesn't deliver that kind of gain. Fuel injection is over-rated.

  • Fuel injection isn't necessarily over-rated... It's true you can get more power and save weight with a carb... But FI will give you better throttle response... I noticed this big time when switching from a YFZ to the LTR

  • 840

  • Which motor kicks more ass ? 800 or the 840 ?

  • Nothing like ruining the tires!!!!!!!!!

  • They were used stock take offs from a Rhino we built. We used wheel spacers to convert the bolt pattern. ;oD

  • who will be the first to swap an stx 1500f engine in one ?

  • Dunno... we've been building 840cc motors for customers lately... Makes the Teryx sound like it has some pissed off Marine engine! 70mph+

  • i have a teryx with 27 inch swamplites and two brothers full exhaust now if i just add your cdi box an intake will mine perform like this one

  • You'll need the jet kit in addition to the intake in order to make it run properly. The Teryx in the video is running 25" tires so you will lose some gearing with 27"s but short answer, Yes. If you un-cork your machine with the intake, install the CDI and jet it properly your motor will run PISSED OFF just like this one. Taller tires also cause extra drive belt ware so order a clutch kit while you're at it, it includes the Performance Belt which typically lasts much longer then a stock belt.

  • anyone doin cams yet?

  • Yes! We've released Cams and Piston kits in 750, 800 and 840cc configurations. Personally I like the 750 kit the best because it doesn't require any cylinder work to install. It's just high compression pistons, cams, and springs. Combined with all our bolt-on performance parts we're seeing 80hp out of a 750cc motor!

  • We're all really excited about this new vehicle. It truely is a BEAST!

    This Teryx is equipped with...

    1) DFR CDI Ignition

    2) Intake Box w/ AFE Filter

    3) DFR Slip on Exhaust (Duel Guns would be even more nuts)

    4) DFR Teryx Jet Kit

Clutch kits are currently under developement and we're expecting huge gains from that alone. (The Teryx in this video is running stock clutching)

  • Man! That thing is awesome!

    Hat's off to DragonFire Racing!

What mods were done to this Terex???

  • I can't get enough of this Video! I've seen 4 people already posting this! I'm extatic that I can get a machine that will run past those Rhino & RZR guys! Great Job DragonFire!
