These rules are vastly different even state to state(think california to say Texas)in the US so those rules can be totally different again from country to country. Many of the cars competing in drag week would be impounded by the police if they even left their driveways in Australia due to much stricter modifying guidelines

I dont remember saying anything about a '66.. Since intelligence isn't your strong point I'll spell it out again.. the potential to modify chassis', put in blown or TT big blocks and swapping diffs, gearboxes etc and still retain true street legality is significantly less in Aus than it is in the States! New car or old!!

Larry Larson's car is incredible but lets face it, its a race car thats driven on the streets and would def be classed as a Pro St car here. If you want to get all huff'n'puff bout your homeland, our records here are 7.0 pro st (like your mate larry's) - & aspirated also. 7.59 mod st blown which is something more realistic that you'd class as a street car.

Argue all you want though, i've spent time in the states and your rules ARE a lot different over there to here. Irrespective of that its a 2300hp car that runs a full tube chassis and a lenco if i remember correctly - thats a race car that gets driven on the street...with lights and a stereo.

Worlds fastest eh, I wouldn't use those words anywhere near a car that is 3 seconds off the pace. Larsons car passes the local tech inspection for his license. What more do you need?Horns lights, turn signals. It's likely more legit than the car posted here

The shift light is set at 8000 and it goes over the line at 8400. On the dyno it still makes power to 9000 but we dont think its necesary to rev it that hard .
