Regardless of whether they shouted over this man, they had as much right as he to practice their freedom of religion. If he had done the same, no one would have had a problem. Besides, how many times have people shouted down prayers of Christians and others acted as if the Christian should be tolerant of such behaviour. Therefore, if one expects tolerance, he must also be willing to give it. If one has an objection, may he also expect objection. Either way, may his freedom to do so remain!

Notice that it doesn't say there are no other gods. It says that the Jews shall have no other gods before YHWY. Originally YHWY had a consort called Ashera. Also known as the Queen of Heaven. The thought of any person of any religion having the audacity to interrupt a prayer. There is no way that Jesus would have treated this man with such disrespect. The shouting man forgets he must love his neighbor. This is not a demonstration of love but of hate and spite. I hope he is proud that he has become a stumbling block for so many.

We are not all parts of god. There is one God who exists in three persons, the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Spirit. The Bible proclaims this hundreds of times cover to cover. You can choose to not believe it (to your own peril), but don't proclaim that Jesus Christ never claims to be God.

When a clergyperson of a different path calls a gathering to prayer, I would never interrupt and egotistically demand that MY cosmology shut down the proceeding. Why are you so angry? Anyway, Christians do worship One God- the only living God- the only God who took our sin and died and rose from the grave so we may be forgiven. We no longer have to work our way to heaven because he did it all for us because he LOVES you and me. Also, even if there may APPEAR to be similarities, that does not make Christianity less true.

If you wanted to visit someone at their house, their address would be on one street, not many. It would be unloving to give them many different confusing directions to get there. God in His love gave us the Bible as the roadmap to find Him, not a bunch of different paths. This is not "intolerence", it is a loving God who wants relationship with us.

He respects out individuality since He created it. The Bible is the path for some, and their are other paths for others. The many paths are not confusing, they exist so that every individual will be able to find his way to God.
