It's so neat to see this song attached to an anime. Whenever I find that a song I love has been used as a theme song in a tv show or movie, it makes me feel warm. I'm glad other people recognized how great the song is. Was this written for the anime?

I'm not sure how it was released, but I've heard news that it's not even the translation. Their are so many languages used that it's impossible to tell. plus nobody really knows if its even a language. it's sort of like baby-language. And if you look at the translations it doesn't seem to make much sense as a whole, so it's been doubted a lot. Truthfully I don't really care about the translation, but it'd be nice to know what thse beautiful lyrics mean.
I do think it sounds cute, the music is soo soft, and slow.
This series remindes me of what you get when you cross evangalion with Rahxephone, both full of mythos but the robots look more like those created by studio bones.

Personally I dont even know if I'd want to know what the lyrics meant. It's the sound and the flow of the words we are supposed to listen to, not their meaning, almost like a magic incantation.

Oh yeah and, you won't find a translation, sorry, because the lyrics book for the CD it was on had the wrong lyrics in it. They did that for all the songs in this made-up language, put Japanese lyrics that didn't go with the song. If we ever want a translation we'll have to write it ourselves -_-

Yeah, I was able to make out some latin words but if this song really was created by Yoko Kano and sung by Makino Yui, then this isn't the first time Yoko has made a non-sensical song. A Cat's Delicacy from Exscaflowne was also non-sensical. : >

I can certainly tell it's a mixture of a few languages.
For a while I thought it was something similar to Russian.
I see it sounds Asian-like and maybe French.
