Typically, Deathcore bands use lower tunings because it's eaiser to sound heavy. This band (The Red Chord) has achieved the same (better) heavyness in D standard which means they'd have to work harder to give it that death/grindcore sound that they give. So basically I am saying that Gunface (the red chord guitarist) is good at writing songs.
