The catch is that Uwe Boll knows he's making crap out of most video game based moves. (they're so bad they're funny) And when he "defends" his movies, he's daring hardcore fans to challenge him on boxing. But Postal is hands down, his best movie.

The real deal with game-based movies is now Paul Anderson, with his repeated sodomy of the Resident Evil series. He believes that "Fate" chose him for the RE movie series. They're NOT even the funny kind of bad. At least Boll's got humor.

To give you an example: The first Postal took flak over a level where you set a marching band on fire. So, in Postal 2, you could still set people on fire, but NOW you could put them out by pissing on them.

So really, with a background like that, this kind of thing isn't straying too far away from the source material ...

Ironically enough, considering Uwe Bolls Reputation amongst videogames and movies, I think this is the only instance in his career where he played the game before creating the movie. Many elements from the game, such as the random acts of violence and police brutality, the Islamic terrorist group with a safehouse in a convenience store, the main character dressing as a policeman, using the cat as a silencer and even some of the outfits are the same

Probably the best movie Uwe Boll has ever made.
