  • 8 years ago. Thats how long ago he died. I was only 4 when he moved onto heaven. Now, 8 years later I still cry 4 him, and I only remember bits and peices of him, like his award winning smile, his chimming laughter, and the last words he spoke to me when he died.I was in the room with him, he asked me to dance to the swan lake song.My dear uncle, has passed onto a better life, I miss him, I wish he were he right now, with me mother, and brother Kyle. I love him too much to let him go now. -Cassie

  • This is so incredibly moving. I was on Ironteam w/ Louie-what a positive friend he was. He truly inspired me. I'm running the Honolulu Marathon in December in honor of Louie.

  • You can find this video on facebook under Nick Bonpua.

  • Thanks so much for postingthis-I was on Ironteam 2001 with Louie and he was such a fun, inspirational friend. I wouldl love to watch this with sound...is there any way you can email it to me?

  • I miss uncle Louie so much. I wish he is still here. It fwould be so much to me if all of the Bonpua family were still here, but uncle Louie is in a better place now but we all still suffer from our loss. I love and miss you uncle Louie!

  • Thank you for posting this video. This brought back such memories and chilled me to the bone.

I will never forget Louie and how he changed my life. I look forward to the day when his life is made into a movie. The stories he told me about his family and the crazy things he'd done (yes, there's even a high speed chase), his coming to America and his love for Burger King food.
