    繁体字用,号是什么?我用詞典,《號》。正确马?

    不好的中文,对不起!哈哈。

  • My birthday was 一九八八nian,十二yue, 十二hao.

    Pretty boring 12/12. :(

  • it's really a great lesson. the way you pronounce tones very loudly makes them much easier to recognize and imitate. i've subscribed to your channel.

btw, my birthdate: 千九百九十一年十二月二十九日 (dec. 29th, 1991)

    再见^^

  • @fortpflanzor

Thanks for your comment and subscription. For year, we say 一九九一年,you only need to add 年behind the number 一九九一, this is much easier than 千九百九十一年. Regards.

  • @howtochinese 谢谢您

So I'm guessing that, for instance, 1663 would be 一七七三 ? is it correct? (sorry for bombarding you with questions^^)

  • @fortpflanzor

1663 should be 一六六三 instead of 一七七三 , liù, I am always available here, and hard-working students never bother me^^

  • 我的生日是一十一月二十九号。(I'm not sure if 是 must be used here...)

(A naghty student scratched something personal on the board...:-O)

    :)

  • @Montanius69

是 is ok to be used here, but for 11 月, 十一 月 is better than 一十一月

    For your answers

1, I am sorry, I have no idea about French, so I am not clear about this question

2, Yue is quite different from ri, After listening and practicing more,I guess it will be clearer for you

3, It's an ancient town of Hunan province in China Best wishes

Since then I found a better example: it's like the last voice of "garage" according to the Ameican pronunciation.

(But it's ok, I think it's because in my native tongue we have a strong 'r', and the pinyin uses the same latin letter representing a "weaker" 'r'.)

    Xie xie ni!

    :)

  • Dear Lucky, I'd like to ask three questions.

    1. I heard this before. In "ren" or "ri" you pronounce something like the first letter in the French name "Jaen" or the j in "Rio de Janeiro" instead of an r (or what I call an r). I catched both pronunciations. Why is that differance?

    2. Well, the same about 'yue'. In some cases it sounds like that voice in "ri". But I haven't heard it before...

    3. What is that place in the background picture?
