Prior to the launch of Nine Inch Nails album "Year Zero", clues were discovered on a flash drive found at a concert, those clues lead to the first batch of websites being found alluding to a dystopian society which is actually part of an ARG (Alternate Reality Game).... Aaahhh screw it, just google "Year Zero (game) wiki"

Once you've done reading that please note that this video and it's 2 counterparts were not part of that official ARG but were fakes.

There was an Alternate Reality Game (ARG) used in the promotion of Nine Inch Nails album "Year Zero" these videos were sent by a mysterious party to a group of people (myself inc) pulling apart the puzzles to find clues, it was determined that they were not part of the official ARG but fan are inspired by the ARG, this was later confirmed when they didn't appear in the official list at the end.

this is a profesionally made video. not fan made. the effects are very high quality the smoke the misile type thing. though the effects do ont really line up with the YZ trailer video that could be because it was made on a lower budget and the presence may have different effects on DV. this was deffinatly shot with a professional grade camera and made with professional equipment as are the other two in the group
