  • That combine is working on a large irrigated farm which gets an average wheat yield of 150 bushels per acre. Thats why its going slow.

  • I cut in same region. The reason he is going so slow is because he is probably cutting 120 bu or better. Cutting midwest wheat is a cake walk at 65-70 bushels. Especially slow when you have an entire pivot laying flat on the ground. This is typical for irrigated wheat in E. Washington.

  • Yes, but that because of the crop. I think the yield is pretty good. In Scandinavia were I'm from and Europe they often judt have 20-30 foot headers on combines that have maybe 36-40 foot headers in USA. The problem in Skandinavia this year is the rain. The crops are good, but it's still in the fields.
