had the pleasure of hearing him sing this in toronto last week. absolutely unreal. the moment at 3:40 where the bass drops out (and it's equivalent in the da capo) killed me, it was all i could do to not start weeping hysterically.

I was at this concert, it was just sooo amazing. Last weekend it was on a radio show and I was just as amazed as back in July..Fantastic to find this piece here now, thank you for posting! (And I'd be very happy about more from that evening actually... ;-) )

@sjuli17 No need to hurry there ;-) I was unfortunately too late for recording it last Sunday (only found out about it at 11am as I regularly listen to that programme), so I only have a blurred video of the encore in Meldorf on my mobile (but at least the sound is quite good).
