  • salvage and rebuilding the alex hamilton steamuh! newyorkie!

  • That is a Dodge Charger, the engine is mounted front to back as a rear wheel drive car should be. The rear passenger doors are typical Dodge Charger doors. The owner probably had it burned so they wouldn't have to make payments on a piece of shit that Dodge calls an automobile.

  • That bridge has some of the largest most destructive potholes ever.

  • Sorry to tell you but you made quite a few mistakes on Aqueduct Bridge, the Water Tower and the ramp from the HRD leading to the GWB.

  • That green ramp that goes over the Alexander Hamilton Bridge and connects to the Washington (181st St.) Bridge was built well before 1962. It originally was accessed from the 178th St. tunnel, the predecessor of today's Trans-Manhattan Expressway (I-95 under the apartments). Likewise, the viaduct that goes down to the Harlem River Drive is also a lot older than the Alexander Hamilton Bridge.

  • That burned out car- either a Dodge Avenger or a Dodge Charger. Both are pretty similar but I would probably lean towards the Avenger because it appears to be a little smaller overall.

  • What a great video! How are you so knowledgeable?

  • That burnt car looks like a Chrysler Intrepid

  • @zephmont deffinitly not a intrepid

  • Great video Joe. There are just too many points of interest to comment on here but I really enjoyed this and I plan to check out part 2 tomorrow. Enjoy the sunshine while it lasts.

  • Nice video!!

  • This is incredible. Didn't know you're allowed to walk up there (or are you?)! You have just as much chutzpah as the graffiti guys if not more. My mom lived at 530 W. 178 St. through the '50s and remembers the GWB without Martha and all the highways and playing in Highbridge Pk. Abandoned car is a puzzler..Nissan 200sx or a weird AMC.

  • Hope they make the ramps with less tighter curves because their tightness and suddenness is what helps back up the GWB,CBX and the Deegan. I always scratch my head at interstate destination signs. Sure New Haven is OK via 95/1 (New England would be better) but Trenton? How about Newark or New Jersey? Enjoy these a lot..very well done..on to pt II...

  • i'd tag that pillar

  • Wow
