dude how much did u way when you started this program and did you fallow the diet plan throughly and did you start out with a high set of weights or wat and did you increase the set of weights u were doing if that makes sense ???
I kept the intensity consistent throughout the 90 days. There were 3 days where I was too sick to workout but there's nothing you can do about that. Learn how to workout at a high level and sooner or later it'll become habitual. What you want to get out of this program, you first must put into it. Hope that helps!
I was following the set program, but in addition I was doing a little more cardio. The only way to get your best results is to maintain a healthy diet and to reach your breaking point during every exercise.
@cklering21 what do u mean by breaking point ? is it the point where i cant do anymore reps ? do u mean the 8th-10th rep ? or u mean as much as i can do ?
By breaking point I mean, do as much as you can, stop when you need to, not when you want to. Results are cultivated in the extra reps that you can squeeze out during each set.
For pushups, I do as many as possible til I collapse, because I want to gain strength and size. For arms, you want to max out at 8-10, so take the heaviest weight you can curl 8-10 times and you'll gain your mass.
@cklering21 Thanks for answering my questions man, one last question.. when i do the 8-10 reps do i have to do them 3 times (3 sets) ? or just do the 8-10 reps to the breaking point and then go to next workout with Toni ?
No dude, you're just doing 8-10 reps, maxing yourself out, and then moving on to the next workout on the list. You do one set of each, or if you're feeling good do some bonus but it's not really necessary early on. Hope that helps.
To be honest, yoga is something I didn't do. It's not really me, but I did supplement my work out with an extra stretch x or two every week to increase flexibility and reduce aching and stiffness. I also did an extra kenpo x every week to really work on ridding any excess fat around my waist.
I created my own nutrition plan. I was basically eating a lot of veggies and fruit as well I tried to have steak 4 times a week. I never strayed from it either throughout the 3 months. My calorie intake was probably around 3000
If you follow the p90x nutrition plan, or just eat relatively healthy and remain persistent with the program, keeping your intensity up throughout every workout, your results will be undeniable. Good luck!
I wasn't taking supplements. I took creatine casually throughout the duration of the program but not heavily. As for weights, 25's and 30's all the way through.
did u ever replace yoga x with another workout? i did yoga x for my first 2 phases but now im on my final phase and i just replace it with cardio x or plyo
hey bro nice work, just order my today I hope is worth it, is it?

Hey cklering21 , was the dieting/nutrition part of P90X difficult or hard to follow?

how many times a day did u take a shake?
filoprince 1 year ago
after my weight lifting, but shakes aren't essential..concentrate more on proper nutrition because that's what's going to make the difference

how much time do you do exercise in 1 day?
christian90able 2 years ago
In one day I usually exercise for 1.5 hours. I do my p90x workout and usually do some basketball or a run on top of it.
