  • That would've been sweet to be there, I wish the sound quality was better, better that nothin.

MTB & CD full tilt boogie!!!!

Wipe my ass with L GAGA's head!!

  • Please put Toy and MTB in the Rock and Roll hall of fame.

  • Hey you guys, don't forget Tommy Caldwell, Toy's brother....Whole band is so Awesome, & unique. THey can change my mood in the length of just one song. Great for driving to Austin or Dallas, or San Antonio...this band gives mighty good company on the road...like you are going on some big adverture. No band like them for southern rock, or progressive country as they used to be called.

  • My favorite guitar player, ever !!!

Along with SRV there's not many guitarists that played with the passion and intensity that he did.

  • i miss him

  • if you didn't stand up at this concert when toy asked for everyone to join in you were lost and definitely at the wrong place...

  • Agree with countrystar- Toy was one of the best !

  • "RIP Taz !"

  • God Bless Toy Caldwell,I love this music.May God Bless him.

  • Great performance! However Charlie should NOT be allowed to pick out his own clothes...

  • the south is cool, I wish I could have lived there during the 70's, I've known about this dude for years because I am old, but among the young generation nobody knows who the fuck Toy Caldwell is which is such a shame the guys playing was GREAT !!

  • Went to the biggest carshow in world in Sweden, its the Power meet.Driving my Chevy Malibu whit Toy Caldwell Band on the back of the rear fenders, and more deacals dressup as a racecar.Everybody wanted to know what band it was.I told them.I told every body that it was the best guitarist ever lived, and a dam god singer as well.

  • I fold.

  • Cant be told inuff,Toy Caldwell is and will be the one and only best performing guitarist in history, good singer as well.

  • @countrytar Bang On !!

  • beg to differ. He's a GREAT singer.

  • Dam,must be the best ever of Toys performans.

  • toy was most gracious.

charlie stretched it and then toy said,

    ok, let's do it

    charlie melted

and toy loved him for it

    and charlie got his wish

to toy with where he was at

  • SRV played Supersition at this Volunteer Jam also, it's on YouTube.

  • @cooltooth112 Yep!! it's here on my channel, enjoy, Cheers: )

  • The girl singing with Charlie Daniels on his left is really pumping those hips....looks mighty fine.....

  • i miss him!!! i love you Toy RIP

  • Toy was taken away from us to soon.

  • oh boy just turn this up i mean real loud like amen.

  • what a tone.....anyone know anything about Toy's rig?

  • @twst1 A Les Paul and some amps,lol...

  • @cooltooth112 yes i know him

  • just saw whats left of MTB at a fair here in louisiana and its MY opionion that doug should change the name and quit riding on the coattails of toy, tommy, george and the rest i know hes an origanal member but he is doing more harm than good LOVE YA TOY KEEP PLAYING THEM STRINGS UNTIL I GET UP THERE TO HEAR YOU ONCE AGAIN

  • toy caldwell is my cousin no joke

  • @blackdovesaturn thats cool if it's true!! Toy and MTB will always be on the top of my list!!

  • @blackdovesaturn The correct verbage would be he was my cousin.......

  • Man , ,you can really see how he deteriorated here! The damn guy ate himself to death. What a shame. His voice wasn't too good at this point.

  • @EFISHANT With all due respect, I don't think you know what you are talking about. I think Toy sounds like his usual self here, and he looks much better than he did in his last couple of years.

I miss this man more than any other deceased musician I can think of.

  • GOOD OL' SOUTHERN ROCK!

  • ME AND MY BROTHER SAW THE MARSHALL TUCKER BAND, THE CDB AND THE OUTLAWS IN NYC ON THE WEST SIDE PIER IN 1985! IT WAS CALLED THE LAST ROUNDUP CONCERT! IT WAS ONE GREAT CONCERT! EACH BAND TRIED TO OUT PERFORM THE OTHER! I WILL NEVER FORGET IT!!

  • @30kitcat - brothers ... aren't they great 8 )

  • i wish i was there in the crowd . and i wish they would release this concert on dvd. toy caldwell and charley daniels now this is country rock and keep it southern amen

  • I'm a Gonna do a little chicken picken

  • I dont think i saw anybody that meant more to a band then Toy did with Marshall Tucker. My only regret is that i never saw them when he was with them. I saw them at a car show years after he had left and i walked out they were so bad. R.I.P Toy, you truly were one of a kind and sorely missed by all of us fans. These days are gone folks...what a bummer that is too.

  • I couldn't agree with you more that these days are gone. I saw Marshall Tucker at the Hampton Coliseum in Virginia. Great show. Thankfully we have the video to sustain the memory and the talent and what it means to us.

  • I went to a concert in 74 and Charlie opened for Marshall Tucker,,,,Toy was great !!!!!!

  • Toy got his solo. I grew up with Toy in Spartanburg, SC. Was fortunate to attend this Volunteer Jam and got to have dinner with Toy and Charlie Daniels. CD would not smother a friend's signature song, and he helped MTB bigtime when they were getting started (and with MCA). Great music! South's Gonna Do It Again!

  • Oh yeah, I was single then, and spent the night with the woman to CD's left in the backup vocals. Go Vols!

  • @rhfatl you must be happy to grow up with mtb, they have allways been a favoriteband for me.its not allways a big job but we are a few and we stick together

  • my favorite guitar player from the south. toy and then johnny winter. great song.

  • Great choice!!

  • @fluffyusa what about Sky Dog Allman?

  • Awesome! Can't believe I haven't noticed this earlier.

  • Thanks, with all of the copys and covers of Can't you see on utube I think only Toy can do justice to his own song.

  • WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! (ahem... sorry... that was a 25-yr pent up Rebel yell;-)

  • I hear ya!

  • Ha! Charlie copped Toy's solo! That is cool beyond compare!

  • Wonderful video. Thanks for posting!

  • Thanks,I thought if anyone should see this it should be you. There's another one of Toy on my channel, and thanks for all of your postings

  • Danke!!

  • thanks!!
