It makes sense why she got fired. It's within companies policies to not allow ANYONE to use other things to their advantage that has NOTHING to do with their jobs. Facebook is something you do on your OWN time and not during work. Obviously, that person has no work ethic at all.

Many companies have policies/rules about Facebook or using company's computer for personal usage. The company is paying them to work, not to play around on the computer, IMs, or checking personal emails during company's hours. I know some say they were on break, or lunch break, etc. Sad to say, "Policy is policy". To protect yourself, stop/refrained yourself from using facebook, or any non-related work activities on your computer at work, unless you got permission from your boss or manger.

I know this vlog made 2007. I wonder he join facebook yet? If not, good idea here, that deaf friend of his can sign diff. name and then go settings disable all except few friends can view his fb. Just a thought, cuz i have many deaf friends same way too, so they sign up under fake name. only problem is, u cant use fb during work hours...must home on own private time, but still use fake name cuz some companies do not like employees to have fb. stupid rule if u ask me, too controling on that rule
