  • BATMAN FOREVER had its moments, but over all I thought it was all over the place, one subplot to many.

HOw about reviewing HOWARD HAWKS, RIO BRAVO, THE BIG SLEEP?

  • Andy really got inside the skin of Ian Dury. Mark's review is spot on.

  • christoph waltz by a country mile for supporting actor as the brilliant hans landa in inglorious bastards,, and sam rockwell best oscar for acting him self off the screen in moon

  • Massive hands!

  • The Kermode Awards are only eligible for films/performances that won't be nominated for Oscars, so Christoph Waltz is out. I hope he gives Best Actor to Tom Hardy for Bronson and Best Supporting Actor to Peter Capaldi for In the Loop, my two favorite performances of the year.

  • hans landa - inglourious basterds

  • agreed

  • Sam Rockwell must surely be in your top three.

  • waltz for supporting i'd say, i only see melanie laurent and brad pitt as the leading actors (in terms of storyline and exposure) in Inglourious

  • Great news. Andy Serkis is great and Ian Dury is a hero of mine (and many, many others). So glad he pulled it off.

  • Best actor should easily go to Sam Rockwell for Moon. He acted solo and then had to act off of himself for the rest of the film. Not only is that insanely challenging but his performance really blew me away with depth and emotion.

  • agreed agreed agreed!!!

  • Spot on.

  • Christoph Waltz hands down...hands down!

  • Christoph Waltz ftw!

  • whole heartedly agree, but kermode will never give it to him, Waltz will just have to be content with the lesser prize, the Oscar.

  • I'm glas that Andy Serkins is starting to get recognised for roles where he actually is physically in the picture, he is a great actor... but I have previously only seen him in smaller roles in Englis TV series and average movies. I should look for more of his newer movies I guess.

  • Summer, Buddy Holly, the working folly

Good golly Miss Molly and boats

    Hammersmith Palais, the Bolshoi Ballet

Jump back in the alley and nanny goats

  • Andy Serkis is an awesome actor, no doubt. He was amazing as Van Gogh.

  • andy serkis looks brilliant in it:) I agree with moeezS. Tom Hardy was amazing in it. no idea what the best for me was though

  • Being a 26 (going on 27) year old, I only recently got into Ian Dury, but I'm impressed with those clips I just saw. Serkis really seems to have nailed him in both the voice, as well as the looks department. I'll definetly keep a look out for this!

  • like an Looks amazing performance. I hear Viggo Mortenson in The Road is pretty good also.

  • Best actor for me was Tom Hardy as "Bronson". Absolute knockout performance.

Never heard of this "Sex, Drugs, and Rock and Roll" movie.
