@JoshieWoshie345521 The size of the maps has nothing to do with the graphics of a game. If anything, smaller-mapped games might be more likely to have more impressive graphics, because there is less strain on the console to run both amazing graphics and huge maps. And like he said, Gears 3 being an exclusive helps it. That said, I think both AC and Gears 3 have fantastic graphics. I honestly prefer the AC ones when it comes to environment and skybox. But both are great.

@Kovitlac Lets not forget ps3 has metal gear solid 4. animation and graphics are superb, makes gears of war look like a cartoon. Level size generally eats up system ram and doesn't affect graphics at all. smaller consoles like ps2 and psp will have smaller levels with less sprites on the screen at once so there is less data needed to be stored in the random access memory. I've never seen a problem with ps3 level size, if anything i get disorientated as it is.

just for the record " some elements are borroded from prince of persia, it's noticable" i don't know if you know this but the first assasins creed game was supposed to be a new (at the time) prince of persia, but the title and story were altered in the early stages of development when they realised that they were actually making something really different. Assasin's creed is what became of PoP.
