Ali thanks, the camera was set to auto everything and I believe the quality was HQ

No, i am sorry. I am actually on the MAC and not able to use the software that came with the camera. I do all editing in iMovie and it works great.

hey mate...i just bought the CX100 too, but when i transfer my video to computer and view it using the picture motion browser, the video gets choppy.. do you know why?

might be our computer not capable of HD video or HQ SD video, it gets choppy on my computer too but not on TV or on my PS3
