And the only reason its that is because of the giant GT style wing it has on the back. I'm sure you understand what that does to top end. Nice Porsche! One thing that bugs me about DragTimesInfo is everytime they feature a vette they make it look like shit and severly underperform. I don't know if that is the case in this race, but there's a 700+ HP ZR1 that runs high 12s low 13s! I could run better than that in my c5 z06 when it was stock!

Man, I know Vette's are known for their manual 6 speeds... But they need to get with the times, they would be so much quicker with a dual clutch transmission. Especially because half the guys I see on youtube can barely drive them. (this guy being one of them)... On another note, god damn Turbo's are all sorts of badass.

@golf1diesel I own an 08' Z06. Where are you getting the fact that its almost an 8L. Its a 7L V8. That 5th gear will run this thing up to within 15mph of its top speed, I've literally touched almost 180mph in 5th before I let off. 6th is pretty much there just to save fuel. Yes the gears are very long. But it works and that's whats important. I just think that it would benefit people that drive badly, if it had a dual clutch system and it would make it faster. Think about how much time it saves.

@golf1diesel Hahaha ah, ok got you. The Z06 was designed and based off a track car... That's why its gears are that way. There aren't very many tracks where you will hit 5th gear. I took an 07' Turbo on the highway a couple weeks ago on a long drive to the west side of the state, I pulled on him pretty hard in 3rd, but once I got into 4th I just passed him incredibly fast. I have minor mods done. He was stock though, but that thing would eat me alive from a dig... Hahaha

@golf1diesel He was dual clutch... I had a chat with him at 70mph and it was just easy to tell and hear... well tried to anyway. The dual clutch removes so much driver input, my wife has a CTS4 with a sequential 6 speed. Its more involving than driving it in automatic, but just barely...
