Actually Jack is sitting out because he isn't comfortable playing this song. It is an apology song for a 1 night stand but Alex didnt have the 1 night stand Jack did. He got drunk while on tour and promised a girl she can come on tour but he couldn't keep the promise and he felt bad. Alex found out and wrote this song about it and jack doesn't feel comfortable playing this because it reminds him of that night
