They were probably screaming a lot, but it was recorded straight from the inputs (mic, guitar, etc.) so it's only the actual instruments/voices that were recorded.

Lip syncing is not because they can't do it live, at least not in most cases. The reason for it is because it's very hard to actually capture the audio at a good enough quality for TV.

I was there for the performance too, they put on such a good show dont they? That sequence with all of them on the drums was badass!
