This very talented boy is from White Russia and is sooooo deeply affected by his roots - with his family he now lives in Norway and has to see what's going on in his home country and other ex-SU states....( Listen to the song again in the light of these thoughts - and do the same with "Fairytale", which was staged in Moscow!!!!

The saddest part of this song is possibly how naive these horses are. Alexander speaks of hope... but in reality they simply don't know that there is no way they will ever survive. However, while on the one side there seems to be no hope at all, it is true that they move on and on, only because of a sense of hope so strong.

@RussianGurlKristina This song is about hope. the 13 horses are racing horses who were left behind and forgotten by there masters when their ship sank, but they never gave up hope that they would be saved like their masters were. Even though it was pointless, they held on to that hope. Down to the last horse, until the moment he died, he still believe in Hope. Hope will never die.
