  • 2:01 LMAO Mouth shot

BTW for the mainlanders and 2012 nut jobs it snow on Mauna Kea every year

  • omg that snow is sooo clean. Not like Ottawa Snow That's for sure.

  • Just to clarify things as a resident and a person with common sense. It snows at 13, 796' when you are barely inside the tropics and at that elevation. There are other factors as well like winds and moisture etc. It snows every year here in Hawaii, sometimes a little more and sometimes a little less. It is a normal thing for a mountain of this height, no mystery here. Aloha

  • You fools are celebrating. You don't find it STRANGE that its snowing in Hawaii? 2012!

  • @NBAGOATS thats wat im saying wen did it ever snow in Hawii??

  • @NBAGOATS uh climate change is normal nub nuts

  • that was very nice to do for the kids...lucky for them it was packing snow

  • That was very nice to do for the kids

  • how often does it snow in hawaii?

  • @YouOnlyDeleted it doesnt thats the first time...

  • @1QueraDuval904 No... -_-. It snows on Mauna Kea. Its unlikely. It barley happens but it isn't the first.

  • the mountain is high 4200m. what more do u expect !?!??! thats nothing to do with climate change

  • @PsyLiq but its hawaiii... o.O

  • @tahitiancookie yeah i know, we all have that picture in our heads that hawai should be tropical place with high temperatures but nature is doing her thing anyway it it possible and its not weird in anyway :)

  • Camera used was a Canon 60D, shooting 1080/24p

Wides were Canon 10-22, anything tele was probably the Canon 70-200/4L

  • global warming = ice age that's a fact

  • The global warming lie ...

  • 1:59min ^^lol

  • be careful. This is the dangerous global warming snow. Don´t touch it. You could get frozen eternally. :-)))

  • @SuperRabbitpower It's called La Nina which is the opposite of El Nino. It snows in Hawaii because there are TALL volcano mountains. It only snows on the summits of Mauna Kea and Mana Loa which are over 13,000 feet and sometimes on Haleakal crater on Maui which is over 10,000 feet. The higher you go up the mountain, the colder it gets about 3.25 degrees per 1,000 feet plus there is the wind chill factor. These mountains are tall enough to get snow even if sea level is at 75 degrees.

  • @SuperRabbitpower The scenery is beautiful. You should visit Hawaii. You can play in the snow on a volcano and then play in the sand on a hot beach on the same day!

  • @Critique808 so its like new england on the top of the mountain and typical hawaiian weather towards the bottom? all in the same place? thats insane

  • @itzamia Yes! I drove up to one of the mountains, and it was about 25 degrees and snowing. Then we drove down to the beach which was 80 degrees. We had to use the car heater when we were up and then use the air conditioner when we were down to get adjusted to the weather change. It was fun! You should try it.

  • lool :D same two things came to my mind too :D snowman looks a bit deformed, but, obviously, they had their fun :)

and the camera, looks like a DSLR?

  • What camera are u using?

  • ehm ... k, they need a lot more practice in building snowmen :-)

  • ive been here and never ever 1 time i would have thought of snow
