I have a MCS and it rocks. Te back set is a bit small but the handling is amazing. Not to mention how customizable they are, how much fun rally's are, and how roomy it feels in the front seats. As a second car I'm thinking of the MCountrymanS. I just love it. The only mini I don't like is the clubman. Looks like a hurst. Yuck

I have a silver Countryman Cooper S and absolutely love it. Couldn't care less if its a "proper mini" or not. HOWEVER, I sent the first one back as the Silver paint was RUBBISH and had it replaced with another one, which is 90% better but still not perfect. BMW seem to have a problem with applying the silver paint to get an even colour, so if you are in any way picky I would recommend not buying silver.

I saw one of these vehicles the other day and I don't think that the videos do this car any justice. It is very nice looking car when you see it on the street. It has a nice rugged muscular look and it has sort of a higher stance like a jeep or small SUV. I like the regular mini cooper as well. The one I don't care for is the clubman, it looks like a stationwagon.

Bought one last week. It's my 4th MINI and even though it's much bigger and more practical, once you're behind the wheel, you're having too much fun to notice. It's all MINI.

Saw one of these CoUNTrymans in the flesh - jesus christ what a hideous godawful machine to see!BMW have produced some ugly as hell cars recently - Z1, X3 , X6, 5GT , 1 -series etc, but these take top award for ugly! Almost as bad as the clubmunter clubman!

@ObscureVD I dont like BMW's most of the time but I gotta admit the M3 is pretty hot. Mind you for the price it should be, I use to have a Mini cooper it was an 08 model I loved it great to drive cheap on fuel and looked good to. I got rid of it only because I needed a bigger car (I went with nissan Murano also a good car) but I would reccomend a Mini to anyone who has the money theyre quite costly here in Australia

I just bought one in the USA and I love it....I owned a Clubman before this and I love this so much more...the handling is better, the suspension is better and there have been modifications to some of the onboard controls that make them better....I am so happy to be one of the first to own one in my area!!

@ButRachaelsays21 hey, ive driven many of these and they are not to big for a smaller person. my gf is your height so im aware of the concerns you may have. the only thing you can do is test drive it and see if your comfortable in it. this review says its big, but it really isnt, its just bigger than any other mini....and it is a lot of fun.

@ButRachaelsays21 What do you mean by make the car loud? For what it is, its quite sporty, but if sporty is what you really want then the cooper S is probably what you would be happiest with. the cooper s is like a gocart with doors and a roof

@ButRachaelsays21 I work for a mini dealership, and today i drive around 4 or 5 clubmen and several mini's...if you want a vehicle with 4wd, the clubman is the one, but if you want a sporty car id go with a mini cooper...and id go for the cooper S if you can afford it. there cool to bc theres so many customizable options

We love the Mini but we need space for our dog and the clubman has always looked like a hearse for midgets. We have ordered a Countryman in cosmic blue with a white roof, sunroof, chrome mirror caps, beige leather interior and are takong it to a body shop when we get it to have some customized white stripes. We are picking up the car 2nd March 2011.

I really like these. I will have my 2008 hatchback forever, but if I ever become a parent or something this might be a good transition car. I like them way better than the clubman. These just look like a big mini, the clubman was too long.

@minibus1351 Thank you! I thought I was th only one who thought like that. I live in Brazil, and it took me a while to see a Mini. And when I did.. dude, it's bigger than my car. In fact, it's just as big as most compact cars in Brazil, which make up for 40% of the market. It's not 'mini' at all. I can't wait 'til they produce a smaller version. I just hope it's not something like the Smart or the Toyota IQ. Mini, yes, but a real car, please.
