This is happening to our family, the social hand delivered a letter saying a "referral had been made" , then showed up 2 hours later with police. We reused to let them in , they sent another letter telling us they will be back on Moday (21st dec) if we refuse to cooperate with the assessment they will start child protection procedures against us!

Amazing how, like in the US, Britain will leave kids in KNOWN dangerous homes with MULTIPLE reports of abuses but safe homes, where children won't be killed are ripped away and placed in "foster" homes. Hell, stolen kids equal money, and dead kids equal a face to use to cry out for more money...

Yes, Yamagoof, I've thought about that fact and here's what I think: CPS doesn't care whatsoever about babies and children, so they ignore real cases of abuse. Also, CPS always wins when a child is abused or murdered because the subsequent media storm just boolsters the propaganda which implies that ALL parents are potential abusers, and CPS should have more power, more money, more laws in their favour. It's also a proven fact that child abuse reports to CPS spike after Baby P type cases.

Definitely! Dead kids are the best way to appeal to the bleeding heart masses. And as long as CPS officials say they are launching a "full investigation so this will never happen again!" Then everyone is satisfied.

As far as Angela Wileman's case, I say this is a testimony to all parents in a similar situation. FIGHT like hell a don't just sit by while Big Brother STEALS your kids away. I'm not saying all outcomes will be like Angela's, but you do need to fight like she did.

Yes, I agree with you. CPS loves it when there is a case like Baby P, because although a few heads may role at the lower level, it generates more reports of abuse, and more laws, and more demonization of all parents. I believe they deliberately leave children in abusive situations, and this is one reason. CPS is supremely evil.

Henry Bellingham is the Conservative MP who's trying to reform the secret courts.

Dai Davies MP is an independent, who's working with John Hemming.

Eric Pickles is an amazing Conservative MP who's dead set against social worker policies such as taking children because mum's IQ is low.

I was perplexed, though, at John Hemming's statement that CPS workers shouldn't be sued because it supposedly makes them less likely to admit a mistake. I think they should be sued, and that that is one of the few things that will keep them honest. CPS doesn't hold on to a child because they are afraid of lawsuits anyway; they do it because they are supremely arrogant and believe they are a law unto themselves. They rarely get sued in Canada, and they still hold on to children.

At the moment the UK is suffering a mass SS overreaction to the Baby P case.

I think JH's aim to make our SS function like Denmark or Eire. They have a different "feel" to their SS. They get superb outcomes for children, as they are not po LICE orientated.

Taking the fear of being Sued away must be JH's method of getting them to open up.
