they had screaming technuiques like they do have now, but this sort of screaming vocals is sort of trademark to the screamo genre, check out pg.90, circle takes the square etc.. but also they didnt have the best of equipment. the way these vocals are portrayed are ment to seem more raw and intense than many of the modern bands you probably listen too wich are more refined, also different screaming methods are death growls and stuff into the death metal genre, they all serve their own purpose.

Saetia is real screamo. All modern post hardcore bands took roots from these guys and guys like envy, orchid ,pg.99, circle takes the square, joshua fit for battle, etc

All music is beautiful in its own way. For example, Metal doesnt really appeal to me. To me, its just filled with meaningless appregios. But some people enjoy it...thats what matters.

They have some screamo influenced sound here but the majority of the sound is not. Thirdly, you should be a little more specific. Screamo EVOLVED from HARDCORE PUNK, it is not a sub genre of hardcore anything it is a different style. Just because THIS band is heavily influenced my hardcore styles does not make screamo part of hardcore.
