bauer and RBK are buying up everything, is there any company out there that hasnt been bought out? i think sherwood is still their own company, damn it i should have got sherwood pads lol but idk if i could have got some for the price that i got my nike bauer pads (the exact same pad that tim has on in this video)

@JamesThWilliams when i first got my RBK blocker and catcher about a year ago i remember seeing a blocker or a catcher that said "brown" on it, i should have got it in about 4 years when i get new pads i will for sure only buy north american made products, i know vaughn makes there stuff in the u.s

@JamesThWilliams all pro level gear has about the same quality. theyre all hand mand with good , high quality products. you cant really say if a company has better quality. unless you have tried every single pad from every company you cant really say which companies have higher quality. although i have the reebok P3 glove and has some wear after a year.

and what do you mean battram brown brians and simmons have higher quality? compared to other companies?

I got RBKs right now, i kinda wish i went with the vaughns though theyve always been a better style pad for me. The RBKs i have right now are more of a butterfly pad and as much as I love butterfly style, I just dont have the size or the muscle to play butterfly effectively. Its a real nice lightweight pad though, the vaugh i had tried on were kinda bulky and heavy. thats just my opinion though

i have a pair of sr x50's best pad ive ever worn amazing protection and the i dont even feel my knee hitting the ice thats how much knee blocks they have.

I replaced my TPS's with Bauer One95, and love them. Light, with tons of protections. And like Ratomania1, ya I still suck, but look fantastic! Cheers.

I just picked up some 195. Picked them up brand new for $800cdn. Compared to the Vapors, they are a HUGE step in the right direction. All pads out there are incredible. It is all personal preference. But I can assure you, will not be disappointed with the 195s.
