  • Quasar later became part of Matsushita Electric, today known as Panasonic Corporation.

  • Should run your sound output into the computer when recording and it would get rid of the projector noise. I have to say though this is great stuff and very glad you put it up. I'm guessing these were reels for TV stations. I know they used to do stuff on 16mm for commercials. I wish the country would completely restore all our old films like this and put them in a repository on the internet. I know with our technology it could all be restored. Thanks for bringing back the memories.

  • Quasar.. works in a drawer.. by Motorola.. classic !!

  • Wow, you have Magnavox commercials! The rest of it is really neat to watch too. Thanks for posting this!

  • This is great, thanks for uploading these!

  • Very nice collections of commercials and very interest too watch today. By any chance does the film have any identifying marks? It looks like Ektachrome, maybe?

  • No markings on the film other than commercial name. Each commercial is on a 3" plastic reel with no markings.

  • Thanks for looking those are really interesting commercials. Ektachrome I think turns toward the red colors as it ages.

  • OMG! A young Mike Ferrell in that last commercial!

  • This is awesome !!!

  • I have a portadryer, it's in my Speed Queen vid.

  • Cool dryer! Does yours have the optional casters?

  • Yes, and it can be vented too. It takes forever to dry a load. I had to get a belt too, which was about 15$. I got the dryer for free.
