I think the nurse was ok in asking the woman and then when she was turned down then it should have been left at that. If the nurse wants to advertise by giving out leaflets that should be done in her own time on a street corner somewhere.The nurse if not satisfied then could have performed a prayer for the woman in her own time at her own home maybe without the woman knowing
If any nurses want sacking from the NHS it should be those who don't care for patients properly that was on Radio 2 today where a woman did not get proper pain killing medication and was not told that her op had even been successful and she had to complain to the hospital about her treatment...when it comes to praying I don't mind as many people praying for me as possible...and my Great Grandfather was always asking his family to pray for him...
as far as praying goes for me I would just pray for whoever in my own home I don't see why I should have to ask somebody's permission they are not going to know about it and letting someone know that I am praying for them I would have to ask myself what are my motives for doing that??? oh aren't I a goodie goodie look what Iam doing for you,arn't I good!!! God is going to be pleased with me for doing that...
