i cant tell anyone what is good for them and dont want them doing the same for me. i know what i can and cannot eat... i do better on a diet high in meat content. the more grain in my diet the more weight i gain. in extreme situations i have even become incredibly ill. some occasions my body has violently rejected certain foods.. i see no point in forcing myself to suffer with a toxic diet so other people will feel better.
i too have encountered this kind of fallacies many times. of course, i've encountered them on both sides of the argument. both meat eaters and vegetarians engage in fallacious argumentation all the time (at least in my experience). the reason for that is probably that most people are morons, it has nothing to do with their stance on animal rights. so what is the point here?
You block people who attempt to discuss issues with you because, like your "How to discuss with animal rights activists", you don't really want to discuss anything. You just want to remain in your own world. You fear something and are really trying to block it out. That's my opinion, anyway.
@AnimalRightsist, it never occured to him that I just have better things to do than to engage in "discussions" with people who don't even know what this is.
Such people should go to a shrink, not fight with people on the internet.
@ThatGuyFromAustria You've asked me a few times in PM to 'discuss' with you but when I do, you block my profile. You have no intention of discussing anything. I sincerely believe you have some psychiatric problem. 31 videos on the same topic. Your first one was about 3 years ago. Don't you think it's time to give up and find something more enjoyable to obsess over?
The hypocrite "ThatGuyFromAustria" wrote: "I have better things to do than engage in discussions" - THEN HE has a video about "How to DISCUSS with animal rights activists"=Hypocrite.
Haha, He made a whole video about logical fallacies, starring HIMSELF spreading nothing but logical fallacies.
ThatGuyFromAustria wrote: "Such people should..not fight with people on the internet"-but then HE is here arguing on the internet! If he posts again, he's a hypocrite. Watch him post...
You trying to discount others' points in this video by attempting to discount them by claiming they're illogical but anyone with the time and patience could go through YOUR videos and discount most of your points in the same manner.
Why don't you just say, "I hate vegans" and then no-one can argue with you.
Look at ThatGuyFromAustria's BACK...he's even wearing a T-shirt that says "EXTREME" on it. His own shirt has the word Extreme, painted right on the guy's back. lol.
If he talks about vegans or makes even 1 more video or comment, he will Prove that he's the one who is an extremist meat-based fanatic. Watch, he'll reply denying it, proving it.
It takes a certain strength to flow against the majority and none to flow with it. Vegans flow against the majority. I know I have a strength many don't.
@TheProudVegan, Charles Manson, Osama bin Laden, ... were also "flowing against the majority", doing so (or not) has nothing to do with something being right or wrong.
@ThatGuyFromAustria So, Osama Bin Laden and his followers didn't have a certain strength?
And ProudVegan said NOTHING about it making it right or wrong so strawman!
He simply said, "It takes a certain strength to flow against the majority and none to flow with it. Vegans flow against the majority. I know I have a strength many don't. " He does NOT say "going against the flow is good". It's just easier if everyone is doing/thing the same.
I was hoping to see some clear rational points here but, again, you've just come out with rethoric with no actual logic. You are driven by your emotions and emotions are not always rational. And, I'd say yours certainly aren't. You're not trying to find out the truth or facts. You're trying to convince people to hate vegans and veganism. That's your starting point and you try to get your points to fit your original feelings.
Appeal to disgust: In one of your videos you show vegan meal and say you found it disgusting then showed a photo of a meal with meat and said it was nice! To follow the rest of your "logic". Implying that veganism is wrong just because you don't like it!
Inventing premises. You do it all the time. You claim that vegans all damage property. That's invented. But, even it were true, it still doesn't mean veganism is bad.
@ThatGuyFromAustria No but you used that "I don't like vegan" food as an argument. It's not an argument, its a just an appeal to disgust. That was the point. YOUR APPEAL TO DISGUST. You use the same falisies you criticise in this video!
@ThatGuyFromAustria A minor point but why have you got a "™" after "not like? You have no legal rights over "not like". It's pointless. Rather like your videos.
@ThatGuyFromAustria So why did you even mention Hitler being a vegetarian? Explain what point you were making? You've said it more than once. It's obviously something you want to use to back up your ridiculous argument.
PROVEN: HITLER ATE MEAT. There's even photographs of Adolph Hitler at a dining table eating meat. (GO Google this: "hitlerwasnotveganproof.jpg" <--put that in Google. Hitler ate meat.
Even wikipedia page debunks its own wikipedia page on the 2nd half of its own page.
There's even a whole book:
Publisher's Weekly: This "lays to rest the myth that Hitler was a vegetarian. The "Fuhrer" gorged on bavarian sausages, ham, liver, and pigeon"-ISBN #0962616966 Rynn Berry - Search it!
People say "No-one really cares about vegans anyway!" Well, obviously some people REALLY care. So much so that they (you) make video after video about them.
I'm actually flattered to be noticed. As has been quoted before: No publicity is bad publicity. It gets veganism noticed the more people discuss it.
You're doing a great job in getting people to think about veganism! Top marks!
@TheProudVegan, in school, children are taught to think about racism, they are taught to think about birth control, they are taught to think about drug abuse. Seems that in school, people are advertising racism, accidental pregnancy and hero&coke, yeah, right... And since you saw videos about how animals are kept in slaughter houses, you can't stop eating meat, because, well, no publicity is bad publicity.
I'd count this as a non sequitur also. And off you go.
To avoid circular reasoning, how can one determine the axioms? Who decides what is or isn't an axiom? Can an axiom be subjective (in some cases) if it's unprovable e.g. faith?
-> I claimed that you would discard that thinking after reading about a case compatible with that advantage thing but incompatible with conventional morality.
-> you claimed that both were equal anyways, without reasoning why. ;-)
So it seems that you just read my claim and not the reasoning behind it.
I can already speculate about what your answer could be. :-)
your claim is that the fact that humans cannot digest grass is significant.
Why is it significant? Is such ground not prolific enough to grow any noteworthy kinds of veggies?
It is a common mistake to ridicule ones opponent instead of just trying to figure out what his point was. The point was not that we should eat grass but to use the ground to grow something more valuable than grass.
But as I have already experienced you do not seem to read what you are answering to.
Tip for next time: increase the contrast between the whiteboard and the markers. Maybe in editing or by changing the lighting or something? It makes it more readable :-)

"Everyone is breathing air." Must be wrong, too.
Unfortunately, the nickname the commentator chose is insulting, thus he got blocked, but more about that possibly later.

@phenocyte324, this is a Morbid Angel shirt, and you didn't see the whole of the story, but, first of all:
Since when do T-shirts have long sleeves?
This is a no-brainer. I mean, talking smart, okay, but then at least you should be intelligent enough to be able to count one and one together.

You use the logical fallacies that linking an idea or statement to a person does not necessarily make the statement or idea good or bad.
So why do use often use the "Hitler was a vegetarian" against veganism?
You're saying "Hitler was an evil person and was vegetarian. So vegetarianism is evil." You're a hypocrite.
