Oh please, you're not suggesting that because Wagner had some tenuous connections to Fascism late in his life, and that he held some mistaken views (like most people, in some way), it means that it's "nazi" to even like his music? That's horseshit.

In reality he had no contact with fascists because this ideology did not exist when he was alive! Alot of people have this silly "white guilt" complex anyway. Just about every race committed genocide against a different race there is no need for us to cry about what our ancestors did. It is this suicidal self hating tendency that seems to only permeate those of European descent. It is a sad trait that is latent in our own race and no other.

I have no personal guilt with regards to things that other people did. There have been a lot of terrible things done in the name of fascism, but I'm not fascist and just because I have the same skin colour as those who committed the crimes does not make me responsible for them.

Some of Wagner's his views could be called fascist and racist in retrospect, but you're right that fascism didn't really exist them. He probably would have disowned it if he was around to see what the Nazis did anyway.
