I like the way how I am only about 12(?) and using YouTube via Google account. Yeah, Google bought YouTube for sure; however, I really hate how they fixed things that was perfectly fine. For example, before Google bought YouTube, I used to see in the comments when people reply, it is always below the comment, but now, when you see a replied comment, you can't see the original comment! Also, as the site changed to a new look, (it might be only me) There is no notification. Its lik sht now!!

Google did a terrific job. They let Steve and Chad have a voice in the company, made YouTube profitable, expanded YouTube to more viewers, fixed its Flash bugs, introduced higher quality video, added more servers(thus longer videos and more videos), popularizing HTML5 streaming, movie service, enforce DMCA Rights, saved Steve/Chad/YouTube/Google from so many lawsuits, and still found a way to continue to innovate. Thank you, Google
