If anyone has any info on what is needed to bring 600bhp+ out of a 2.2 litre Quattro Turbo (10V) engine, please let me know. Do you know any good companies who do such work? And the cost of doing it, approx? Perhaps it can only be done with a 20V?

it simply is not going to happen out of a 10v, unless you have an absurd budget. The head does not flow enough out of the box to make that kind of power. To make 600bhp out of a 20v, it is going to cost you around 20,000 US dollars to do it right. (basically that is for EVERYTHING from the turbo system to the engine management)

as for companies: MTM, 034motorsport, Dahlback are the heavy hitters in the 5-cylinder game

How much can a stock 10V I-5 take safely? Is there a lot of modification to tune for 300 or so BHP?

Just change the fuel system to some Autronic, Megasquirt, Haltec, Electromotive or something else and give the machine some fuel and encrease the turbo boost to about 1.5 2.0. Then you hav e around 300hk in the engine

Well japcarsucks, i have had these car before my self, and i am from europe. I don't really care what the American people call these cars, because they always add silly names to the european cars the minute they come over the border into the US. But you are wrong about the chassi to dude. The chassi is nothing like audi produced back in the 80's. It's a stand alone Audi coupe quattro. The only resemblance to other Audi's in that period of time is that it has the front of the Audi 90.

The GT model is a 2WD front wheel drive Audi coupe. While this is a modified Audi coupe quattro, and is a fourwheel drive..

So to sum it up ranging from low to top model:

2WD Audi coupe GT

4WD Audi coupe quattro

4WD Audi UR quattro

4WD Audi sport quattro.

FWIW, the UR is not really part of the name. The Audi Quattro (model name is Quattro) is the 4000 coupe, with quattro and the 10v turbo engine.

The Audi Coupe Quattro and the Audi Quattro has more differences than just the 10VT engine, which I assume you know.

BTW, Audi Quattro was also delivered with an 20VT engine, from 1990 to 1991.

Still, the car in this video is an Audi Coupe Quattro (not "80 Coupe"), period.
