  • It Was Mike Millward that died early in their career. Brian Ohara I believe comitted suicide 1999.

  • the fourmost are still around, trading as the CLOUDS,they were the beatles support act for years.

  • Reminds me of the Animals in their appearance.

  • nearly 50 years ago! Where's my life gone? Doing a paper round when this came out.

  • Yes they were a great band and deserved more fame then they got, they were fabulous!!!!

  • i always liked the fourmost. the big guy on the left died of (i think) cancer. god bless him. i think his name was mike. but this group always turned out decent songs, they should have been bigger than they were.i wonder if they are still touring?

  • The bass player looks like all the Beatles combined.

  • @doowop76 excellent observation! They should have been named 'The 4 Losers'

  • wow ringo starr on guitar :o xD

  • A Gretsch Bikini bass there...interesting...

  • lovely old instruments

  • @bostonsurfboard Had to look after that I would have thought a song like this would go to the top. Went to Number 6 in UK in April 64. Looking at Wikipedia didn't get a mention USA Surprises me that does, great song I love it

  • This song just has something a bit more in it that a Beatles song of 65' would have, but don't get me wrong, The Beatles 1965 songs a great too.

  • that guy is that doc emet.brown from BACK TO THE FUTURE

  • @gaham99 No, it's Jimmy Saville. A very popular DJ in the Sixties and Seventies UK.

  • That person that introduces the songs is creepy

  • @TheInevitableSaiyan Sure as hell, yeah!

  • @ironbuttermilk I actually like this little bass a whole lot! Gotta love 60's odd guitars

  • @ironbuttermilk

I always thought they looked brilliant. plain and classy. The other white trimmed things looked men in cowboy hats play them.

  • Mersey-beat...great sound .

  • Jimmy Saville is a funny guy

  • I always liked the guy on the left who holds his guitar horizontally. Funny the things I thought were cool way back then.

  • I was lucky enough to play in a band with the drummer Dave lovelady, in the 80s, what a top drummer he was, and a more lovely guy you couldn't wish to meet.

  • They were a class act.

  • @shrewsfan123 True
