No depression on my part. Just pure amazement. Kurt opened a new era. IMHO he saved the jazz guitar in that he has found a place for the guitar in a modern jazz band. This includes his amazing harmonic and melodic ideas, creativity and a sound which is neither too soft (plain archtop) nor too agressive (strong distortion). His "disciples" are great players like Lage Lund or Jonathan Kreisberg, who with him carry the jazz guitar into the next level. Finally someone has done it ! Thank you Kurt !
