  • this is just so GREAT! COOL!!!

  • kudos!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i love the idea

  • great concept. How much do pieces retail at?

  • Yep. Totally Awesome!

  • your in the right direction..jerry 32 years in business

  • awesome

  • we need your products in our store - if you read this and make furniture from reclaimed stock and are in NYC, I want to visit your store & buy from you. We have a store full of smaller, well-made furniture in Maine, and we presently use several local furniture makers who use our own stock of recycled materials. Search online for condo furniture in Maine - please get in touch, and thank you for doing, not just BS-ing.

  • every time that anybody makes a house they destroy a little forest and the carpenters spend more wood than they need , good for you i am going to start a wood recover small company in mexico

  • AWSOME!!!

  • wow

  • Sweet! Finally some joined up thinking! They should be driving that pickup running on bio-fuel or something ;-)

  • They could always transport the wood by bike & Trailer

  • Awesome! Now if we could just figure out what to do with those French Vanilla Creamer bottles. We hate throwing them out! Mr. & Mrs. GeezerArt

  • @geezerart anything you throw out can be recycled or reused, lots of people reuse them for dry goods storage and any sort of other ideas. they can also be used in building materials as filler material for inside of concrete i do believe (or is that glass bottles...)

  • beautiful.

  • good for you ... if everyone did their bit like this we would make a difference!

  • Get a lathe and you'll never have scrap again. Eventually even the smallest piece of would would make a very pretty toothpick.

  • cool video , how about coming and checking out my new video called The Movie Life

  • the furniture looks great. if it has a high price tag, it is well worth it.

  • lol... i made my final year design project from recycled timber, then recycled the off-cuts from that. Trust americans to make a big thing about it... good that some are doing it though

    J.

  • smaill group like this stand a real chance at making a big difference

  • Great idea - I am a carpenter (42 years) and am vexed with the idea of throwing a usable scrap away - versus shed overload....

  • Thats pretty cool

  • Like it - nice effect from combining the different wood types, just curious though - it looked like scrap wood was just being thrown in the general refuse if these guys couldn't use it, don't they recycle scrap wood at all in NY?

  • Never thought about recycling wood, but it makes sense... Wonder what else we're not thinking to recycle but could...

  • good idea, all over the world against global warming, even the smallest things we can do for the envirement we have to do it...Now

  • im in love....

  • Very nice job!

  • Your wood is about 25% higher in price than Canadian wood, thanks to your federal government taxes! Just wait till the oil runs out, you can burn those wood scraps for heat!

  • great idea. maye this is gona be a new trend or something...

  • Having links (and company names) to the company web sites when you feature their products would be very helpful.

  • the usa is a sad sad place...
