I'm not going to thumb you down but I really disagree with this. The Dodge Viper ACR has set the record at Nüburgring, beating out the Corvette ZR1, followed by the Nissan GT-R. I am not knocking the GT-R or imports in general. the GT-R is a beautiful machine and a way better deal for the price than the ZR1. But after watching the videos of two American sports cars setting records, it is hard to deny that American sports cars as real competitors on the tracks.

The reason why muscle cars aren't sold in EU is because of taxation. In EU, you are taxed on weight, emissions, and especially if it's an import. It's also not just EU, people in South America love muscle as well but due to tax reasons a Mustang GT for say, in Columbia, is $50k because of import tariffs alone. I say this because I have an international circle of friends who love muscle. Just consider yourself lucky to live in America where you can own a car and still work at Burger King.

You can't compare muscle and japs. Its like comparing a computer and a chair... they are not made for the same thing. Muscle is made for a strait like... A nice nice. A unique vintage sound (v-8) rumble. The japs (skyline) which I'm buying in 2011.. R33. is more for speed, cornering and so on. So both are the best in they're world. period. PS. I'm not going to thumb you down but I really disagree with this. The Dodge Viper ACR has set the record at Nüburgring, beating out the Corvette ZR1, followed by the Nissan GT-R. I am not knocking the GT-R or imports in general. the GT-R is a beautiful machine and a way better deal for the price than the ZR1. But after watching the videos of two American sports cars setting records, it is hard to deny that American sports cars as real competitors on the tracks.

The reason why muscle cars aren't sold in EU is because of taxation. In EU, you are taxed on weight, emissions, and especially if it's an import. It's also not just EU, people in South America love muscle as well but due to tax reasons a Mustang GT for say, in Columbia, is $50k because of import tariffs alone. I say this because I have an international circle of friends who love muscle. Just consider yourself lucky to live in America where you can own a car and still work at Burger King.

What Muscle car is that? I don't know that car. Also, for those that think that a skyline is all that. I built my 1st KenMary back in 1984. I've raced against them with my 7. I live in Japan where there is so many. The car is just an OK car. Don't get me wrong, the engine has potential. But in real life, a bigger air pump is better. Bolt a turbine set up on a 7 liter and the muscle car goes faster. Don't be fooled by the hype, bigger air pump with the same boost makes more power = goes faster.
