I have a 2007 Clio and have problems with the lights not turning off and the wipers not working unless I use the washer. Othertimes it works perfectly - do you think your fix will work for this problem? Thanks
@PageyBee Hi Pagey, I don't think my solution will fix the problem. However what I suggest you do firstly is to make sure that the problem is not a loose connection from the controls around the steering wheel. When you have the problem again, try flicking the controls, the vibration may cause the connection to work.
My partner has a 2005 Clio and the headlight bulb on the drivers side needed to be replaced. The problem is that the car has air conditioning and the pipes get in the way which is really annoying and frustrating. Can you offer any advice?
we have a problem with the fog light indicator light coming on dash when the brake is pressed so will try this but have also been told it could be a bad earth. also have got to change the hazard switch as the mechcanism behind it has gone wrong but no idea how to take the dash off!! hoping it wont be too expensive at a garage. NOT RENAULT GARAGE!!
@TheMatleo143 Take your rear lights out, clean the contacts, that should solve your earth problem, that is if the problem is worse when there is moisture in the air. By mechanism for the hazard light, do you mean it no longer pushes in and out?
Fantastic advice!! Sorted my wife's 2004 Clio Dynamique 16v 1.2 dipped beams straight away. After much time taking out both bulbs, testing them direct from battery, searched many forums etc. All other lights worked except these - Perhaps would be an idea for Renault to have covered the 'footwell' eh? Well done mate. I'll link to your YouTube from other forums as a thank you.
Perhaps you should stick a Paypal donation button on here!!
@welshsteven33 You're more than welcome. Donate link haha, that'd be nice! But no, I'm happy to give advice out which stops people getting ripped off by the stealers. It makes me sick to think of the money I've thrown away on cars before I undertook my studies in engineering.
Hope all stays well with the car, if you do have any other problems, just send me a message and I'll help you out :)
@V6MattGW - What a star! Likewise if there's anything i can help you with, feel free to shout - I've my own limited company Small Business Helper Limited and am soon to be making use of it's own YouTube channel - specialising in Web Lead Generation Sales etc. Steve Walters.
Hi im wondering if you can help I have a Clio Sport and my fog lights arn't working. Changed the bulb and checked the fuse. No luck still wont work any ideas if it could be a loose wire or something else?????????????????????????????????????
I have the same fault with my renault clio dynamique billabong 2003. Having trouble locating the relays although I will have a proper look in daylight tomorrow. The same wiring you show on the video is there but couldn't see the relays.
@V6MattGW No unfortunatley that didn't work for me but it did sound like it may have been the same problem. Got to put it in the garage anyway next week so I will leave it to them! Thanks anyway
I have a problem with my wife Clio (not as fancy as your though). Do you know if the relays are in the passenger side on the European version (so to speak - stearing wheel in left side) ?
@Sokamok I don't have a european model to check I'm afraid, it wouldn't be hard to check however! I'd imagine they are still on the same side as in this video.
@V6MattGW You were right, it was in the left side (driver side for us). And the relay had been fallen out, and most of the other relays were loose. I wonder where/how she is driving :-)
