I dont understand what this "HTML" file is? All I have done is created a BIG photo in Photoshop, I've designed it for my bands Myspace.

800 x 2000 Pixels.

I've sliced it, and linked them to the right places. That all works. But I dont understand where this HTML file comes from?

I've followed this video to the T... also tried many different codes after searching the net... and still can't get the comments and friends to appear above my layout. Does the coding actually still work? Have Myspace changed something? Other than that still very helpful tutorial. Any help on the comments/friends? P.S I've also watched your video on this but that didnt work for me either.

@YungRedDevil I've heard they resize your image but I haven't had issues with that. Your safest bet is probably using your own hosting, or octopic.

ok say ur trying to put the "Message" link in that place u know where to put it. u just go to ur profile or whoevers and click on MESSAGE and once that loads up copy the URL at the top of the page. same with all the other shit. but sum things are more difficult to copy the exact URL so sumtimes wat u gotta do is copy sum1 elses URL and just switch THEIR friend ID with URS. and thats what u do. hope i helped if not ask sum other things or PM me

if you dont see any spacers then your layout might not have any needed. Sometimes that happens with my layouts as well.

@ImJusNikki the main body of myspace layouts (width wise) is 640 pixels

and the rest (width wise) is up to you. but the main "friends" "bio" and shit, is within the 640 center pixels.

and my screen is 1280 pixels so i usualy make it a hundred or so pixels wider with a gradient on the outsides.

@ImJusNikki You could make it whatever, but I personally always go with a width of 1024px, since that's how big most people's monitors are.

i just upload the pics i use into a private album on myspace and then link them through that. I think myspace blocks all outside sources now.

why dont you just use NVU to change the links of your pictures, its the only step in your layout tutorial i see that would confuse people.
